13/5/2022 05:02 | Thanks. Very good. Apparently HL ISA account holders need to wait until Friday 20th May for the 209.00 GBX per MCKS share. I just found the following in an HL message received on 5th April:If approved, the offer will complete on 6 May 2022. The new shares will be credited on or around 9 May 2022 and cash will be paid on or around 20 May 2022. If you want to sell your shares before it completes, you'll need to do so before 4:30pm on Thursday 5 May 2022. Will presumably be at least 5% above current bid to convince the board to switch horses. The upside looks bigger than the downside of the current bid being the last shout. I would normally have waited for the deal to finalise, but I don't necessarily want Workspace shares, and the share price has already gone down today. I'm trying to refocus my property holdings towards simplification using TR Property Investment Trust, as far as is possible, and so will look to invest the proceeds there at some point. | topvest | |
