26/4/2008 21:11 | nicedude1976, Possibly, but beware of debt position. Risk of this one struggling in the current economic climate. "Food & Drink Group (F&D), the owner of Jamies Bars, which has issued two profit warnings this year, is considering a rescue rights issue. Stephen Thomas, the chairman, who has appointed McQueen, the advisory firm, to study the options, is thought to be looking at a reverse takeover of 3D Entertainment, in which Luminar, the company he runs as chief executive, has a 49 per cent stake. Novus Leisure and Premium Bars & Restaurants have both run the rule over F&D, but are interested in only a few sites. F&D's shares fell ½p to 31½p." | scburbs

18/4/2008 14:26 | those limits are pathetic. I just tried a dummy trade and you are right, they are selling under mid price lol. very risky and best avoided........ the dropped from 255p a share 5 months ago!!, but it seems for good reason. | seanmiller
18/4/2008 14:11 | The mm's are trying to trap here by pushing up the price to encourage buying but in reality you cant sell a thing here, it's 750 shares online bid so buy as many as you want well below the price but at the moment it will be impossible to sell them unless you take a discount. Been on my monitor all this time, this is rapidly becoming a sector to avoid like the plague along with most pub shares, people just are not spending the money like they did and the smoking ban just makes it worse. 750 shares v 100,000 online.....not very healthy. | 8trader

18/4/2008 11:03 | Takeover is always possible, although, particularly in this economic climate, there is no point bidding for a company's share cap if it's assets can be acquired directly from the administrators... Regards all, enq. | enq
