When first visiting ADVFN Screener you are directed to the launch-page of the tool.
What can you see here?

Here is a quick description...

First of all, in the very top of the page you can see the title: Sreen NYSE, AMEX, & NASDAQ. This title is clickable and allows users to proceed directly to the screening process of stocks for any of these markets.

Right next to the tilte, you will notice 2 drop-down menus. One is the My Screens list, which contains your favorite screens once you have created and saved them. The second is the Preset Screens list, which contains a selection of predefined stock searches.

Continuing below you see the Start Screener button. You can click and start your stock screening process directly, or you can look further down to the Preset Screens menu, and choose one. Each of the preset screens is labeled with an indicative title, a brief description and a 'Click here' prompt.
