Whistler Investments (WHIS) Delivers Lithium Ion Project to the United States Navy Inaugural Naval project delivered to United States Navy for testing WASHINGTON, DC / LAS VEGAS, NV, June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Whistler Investments Inc. (http://www.whistlerinvestments.com/) and its subsidiaries, R-Electric Car Company (http://www.r-electriccar.com/) Global Electric Corporation, (http://www.globalelectric.com/) and Solium Power Corp. (http://www.soliumpower.com/), emerging leaders in the development and marketing of Lithium Ion vehicles and Lithium Ion powered products worldwide, announced today that a highly advanced lithium ion military vehicle was delivered to the United States Navy for testing and Naval certification. Pursuant to a media release dated Febuary 17th, 2004 WHIS delivered a fully completed pilot project vehicle to the Navy as part of an enhanced military applications program initiated by Whistler Investments during Q1 of 2004. The project vehicle will serve as a trial with the United States Navy and will presently undergo a series of tests with the Navy. The PT Cruiser pilot project is set for completion and will be ready for testing by mid-July, 2004. The high profile British Embassy Mini Cooper conversion is also ready for testing and is set for delivery by the end of August, 2004. To view the R-Car, ATV and the New E-Cobra Urban vehicle in action, Canadian residents can tune into CP 24 on Tuesday June 22, 2004 at 5:55 p.m. The program will be repeated every two hours thereafter and during the following weekend at various times throughout the day. The Space Channel(TM) will feature the R-Car and other exciting products developed by Whistler Investments at the end of the month.
