TORONTO, May 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vasogen Inc. (NASDAQ:VSGND; TSX:VAS) today announced that it has received a letter from The Nasdaq Stock Market, indicating that the Company has regained compliance with the $1.00 per share minimum closing bid price requirement for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market, pursuant to Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(4). In the letter, Nasdaq advised the Company that this matter is now closed. About Vasogen: Vasogen is a biotechnology company engaged in the research and commercial development of therapies designed to target the destructive inflammatory process associated with the development and progression of cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disorders. The Company's lead product, the Celacade(TM) technology, is designed to activate the immune response to apoptosis - an important physiological process that regulates inflammation. Celacade is in late-stage clinical development for the treatment of chronic heart failure and has received European regulatory approval under the CE Mark for this indication.
