Telenor Increases ADSL Speeds for Businesses FORNEBU, Norway, May 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Higher speeds -- same price. This will be the case when Telenor increases the ADSL speed for the business market from 1 July. Most broadband business customers will see their speeds doubled with no extra charge. "Broadband and telecommunications are critical for just about every business. With the increased use of broadband, the demand for improved capacity and higher speeds has also increased. When we now double the speeds for most subscription categories without raising prices, Telenor will stand out as a very competitive broadband operator in the business market," says Rolv-Erik Spilling, Marketing and Portfolio Director at Telenor Business Norway. Telenor's new ADSL portfolio for businesses will be launched on 1 July. Existing customers are automatically and gradually transferred over to the new products, and all customers will have access to the higher speeds by the end of September. With the new speeds Telenor's business customers, even those using the slowest speeds, will quickly be able to download and send heavy files, and efficiently connect to their home office or the company's computer network. The upgrade will take place automatically, and businesses will not require any new equipment in connection with the upgrade.
