Statement re Discussions

The Directors of The Market Age plc (the "Company") announce that discussions
held with a third party concerning the restructuring and the refinancing of the
group have ended.  The Directors are continuing to explore options available to
the Company.  One option being considered is the disposal of the operating
subsidiaries Pronet Analytics.com Limited and WTV (Media) Limited to a
management team, which would result in the Company being an AIM shell. In
conjunction with the potential sale of the  operating subsidiaries, the Board
are seeking opportunities for the Company to utilise its resulting available
capital losses.
