Sense Adds ScopeOut(R) Product Line
GRAND ISLAND, Neb., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sense Technologies Inc.
(OTC:SNSG) (BULLETIN BOARD: SNSG) announces today that it has entered an
exclusive worldwide license agreement to manufacture and market the ScopeOut(R)
adjustable mirrors system, which allows a driver to view both pedestrian and
vehicle traffic from both directions while backing out of a parking space, or
from a driveway into a street, by providing a substantially wider view to the
rear sides of the vehicle. Installation on new or existing vehicles is very
simple.
"This product is hand-in-glove with Sense's Guardian Alert(R) product line,"
said Tim Goldsbury, Sense sales director. "With both products, drivers now can
significantly enhance their backing safety beyond any other means presently on
the market, and at a very affordable price."
Sense expects to begin manufacturing key versions of the ScopeOut(R) product
line immediately, and demonstrate the product to existing customers as a
stand-alone or complementary product to the existing Guardian Alert(R) product
line. The ScopeOut(R) system has had limited market testing with extremely
encouraging results, including a significant number of very positive
unsolicited product testimonials.
The ScopeOut(R) product is generally covered by US Patent Number 6, 715, 893,
and various other patents are currently pending, all of which are included in
the exclusive license agreement.
Along with the ScopeOut(R) patent exclusive license, Sense Technologies holds
exclusive patents on an automotive Doppler radar system that alerts drivers to
potential hazards while backing. The Guardian Alert(R) Doppler Awareness System
has a sensor that mounts at the rear of a vehicle and a warning indicator
inside the vehicle. The system is maintenance free and can detect objects
behind a backing vehicle in all weather and lighting conditions. The product
can be fitted on existing vehicles as well as new cars and trucks. Thousands of
Guardian Alert systems are in use on commercial fleets as well as on passenger
vehicles today.
