Radyne ComStream Announces $1.3 million Satellite Modem Order PHOENIX, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Radyne ComStream (Nasdaq: RADN; Warrants: RADNW) today announced that it received an order for $1.3 million to supply an Asian Telecommunications Provider with its flagship satellite modem, the DMD20. The customer will use the modems in its GSM backbone. The order is for immediate delivery. "This order reflects our customer's confidence in the DMD20 to provide a versatile solution with a full range of features," said Bob Fitting, Radyne's CEO. "The DMD-20 Universal satellite modem provides more features than any other satellite modem in the industry. For example, no one else has both Intelsat and DVB standards as well as compatibility with closed network solutions." These providers deliver service to a variety of circuits by using the DMD20's upgradeable software platform.
