SHERBROOKE, QC, Aug. 19,
2024 /CNW/ - Canada Economic Development for
Quebec Regions (CED)
The Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister
of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED, will be
in the Cantons‑de‑l'Est region this coming
August 20. Her day will begin in Magog with
a visit to a residential construction SME.
She will continue her day in Sherbrooke with
a visit to Croquarium, a social economy non‑profit
organization, accompanied by Élisabeth Brière, Member
of Parliament for Sherbrooke and
Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister
of Families, Children and Social Development and
to the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions
and Associate Minister of Health.
Minister Martinez Ferrada
will take the opportunity to highlight a CED
financial contribution for the organization,
whose mission is to contribute
to the development and fulfillment of youth
through educational gardening and sensory
taste education.
Media representatives are invited to participate in
the visit to the organization.
