                                 Option Grants

Healthcare Enterprise Group PLC ("HCEG") announces today that, as discussed in
Section 8.3 of Part X of its prospectus dated 20 October 2003, the company has
today granted options to various directors, employees, and consultants to
acquire an aggregate of 140,345,468 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 1p
per share.  In addition, options to acquire 6,053,371 ordinary shares at an
exercise price of 1p per share were today granted to two other consultants to
the company.  Of the total number of options granted, options to acquire
95,895,203 ordinary shares were granted to the directors of HCEG as follows:

The options described above ("Options"), save options to acquire 21,070,153
ordinary shares issued to Numis Securities Limited, were issued pursuant to the
HCEG 2003 Share Option Scheme, as amended.  The Options generally have a
three-year vesting period and expire if unexercised upon the tenth anniversary
from the date of grant.
