Mad Cow: Gardenburger Urges Consumers to Object to Plan to Test Only Exported Beef IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The following is a statement by Scott Wallace, CEO of Gardenburger Authentic Foods, Inc.. The statement is issued in reaction to confirmation by National Meat Association President Rosemary Mucklow that an offer has been made to Japanese Trade and Agricultural officials to test all export-bound cows that were born before January 1, 1998. "Gardenburger vehemently opposes testing only those cows bound for export.
