Mad Cow: Gardenburger Applauds Progress, Calls for Full W.H.O Compliance IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The following is a statement by Scott Wallace, CEO of Gardenburger Authentic Foods, Inc., issued in reaction to the U.S. Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman's pronouncement of new restrictions on U.S. beef in an attempt to curtail concerns over the nation's first confirmed case of Mad Cow disease.
