Jilin Chemical Industrial Company Limited Profit Estimate JILIN CITY, China and HONG KONG, July 14 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of the Jilin Chemical Industrial Company Limited (the "Company") (HKSE: 368, NYSE: JCC) announces that due to the increase in the prices of the Company's products and the volume of the products sold by the Company during of the first half of 2004, according to the Company's management accounts for the six months ended 30 June 2004, the net consolidated profit of the Company for that period is expected to increase between 100-150%, as compared with the corresponding period in 2003. The interim results of the Company for the six months ended 30 June 2004 is expected to be released on 29 July 2004 and the despatch of the interim report is expected to be released on 3 August 2004.
