PITTSBURGH, May 13, 2024
/PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create an innovative replacement
option for the panoramic glass rooftop of a vehicle," said an
inventor, from Ottawa, Ontario,
Canada, "so I invented the SANTOP. My design would
provide a full-wide-open space without any glass or crossmembers
for an open-air convertible-like feel."
The patent-pending invention provides an effective way to expand
the capabilities of a panoramic rooftop. In doing so, it eliminates
the need to feel enclosed and limited with a glass panoramic top.
As glass panoramic roofs only open halfway. In most cases, it opens
glass on top of the glass. As a result, it enables the user to
enjoy a wide-open rooftop and it prevents glass from blocking
airflow and the view. The invention features a versatile and
weatherproof design that is easy to use so it is ideal for owners
of automobiles and SUVs that have panoramic rooftops.
Additionally, a prototype model is available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Toronto sales office of InventHelp. It is
currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or
