INTAC International Announces Student Recruiting Exposition in
China Sponsored By Intac PHR Bank
HONG KONG, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- INTAC International, Inc.
(Nasdaq: INTN; FSE: WKN 805768), a provider of a full-range of career
development services to students in China through Beijing Intac Purun
Educational Development Ltd. ("Intac Purun"), its joint venture with China's
Ministry of Education, today announced that Intac Purun's internet portal PHR
Bank (professional human resource bank located at http://www.phrbank.com/) is
sponsoring a student recruiting exposition in China. PHR Bank, an integrated
website of placement, search, campus recruiting and professional training
services for enterprises, will be hosting an online "Recruiting Exposition"
between national college graduates from 1638 universities and the top 168
state-owned companies.
This Recruiting Exposition is fully supported by both the MOE (China's Ministry
of Education) and the SASAC (the State-owned Assets Supervision and
Administration Commission of the State Council), but will be managed by Intac
Purun and its PHR Bank. This event will be held from November 22, 2004 through
November 28, 2004. After the Chinese New Year, a similar recruiting event will
be held from February 22, 2005 through February 28, 2005.
Throughout this recruiting exposition, the resumes of college graduates from
1638 universities, supervised by the MOE, will be sent to
http://www.myjob.edu.cn/, the official website of the MOE providing employment
information for China's college graduates and administrated solely by Intac
Purun. Simultaneously, the recruiting information, including job postings, from
China's top 168 stated-owned companies, such as Petro China and CMCC (China
Mobile), which are all supervised and administrated by SASAC, will be listed on
http://www.myjob.edu.cn/. This site will enable the graduates and companies to
search, choose and contact each other easily, effectively and efficiently.
"Through this online Recruiting Exposition, we expect to establish and combine
an effective database of both graduates' resumes and large state-owned
companies' recruiting information. With the help of Intac Purun's recruiting
platform, PHR Bank, graduates will be able to easily search and apply for any
suitable job opportunities. In addition, those large state-owned companies will
also be able to easily search, find and contact their potential candidates.
This has significant meanings for both graduates and large state- owned
companies," said a representative of the MOE.
"With the support of the MOE and SASAC, Intac Purun is very proud to undertake
such a prestigious recruiting event. Intac Purun is playing an active and
important role in recruiting services in China, and that role is being
recognized by both the Chinese government and college students in China," says
Wei Zhou, Chairman and CEO of INTAC, "We expect it to not only to be
financially rewarding, but also build a very powerful partnership with both
graduates and large companies. Furthermore, we have the opportunity to build
and maintain a long-term relationship with the SASAC and the top 168 state-
owned companies for future cooperation in recruiting and training services."
