HAMDEN Conn., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The EnerLume light controller recently introduced by Host America Corporation (CAFE.PK) will be the subject of a presentation at the New Technologies Breakfast at the World Energy Engineering Congress being held at the Georgia World Congress Center August 15-17, 2007. John Ekegren, Host America's vice president of sales and marketing, will present a paper accepted by the Congress on the new technology in EnerLume-EM which reduces electrical consumption in commercial and industrial lighting systems by approximately 15% with no perceived reduction in luminosity. The World Energy Engineering Congress is the largest annual gathering of energy management professionals from both the user and the supplier side. It is a comprehensive forum where participants can fully assess the "big picture" and see exactly how economic and market forces, new technologies, regulatory developments and industry trends all merge to shape critical decisions on businesses energy and economic future. This year's 30th annual Congress is presented by the Association of Energy Engineers, the largest trade association in the field. Free admission to the event can be obtained at http://www.energycongress.com/. In addition to Mr. Ekegren's presentation, the company has purchased booth # 421 and # 423 at the WEEC exhibition. Visitors to the booth will see the EnerLume-EM in operation and be invited to witness the savings it provides. This is the third in the series of this year's Association of Energy Engineers exhibitions. About EnerLume-EM(TM) EnerLume-EM(TM) uses patent pending technology to manage incoming power so that the ballasts for fluorescent lights draw energy from the electric wave when power transmission is most efficient. This allows perceived light levels to be maintained while significantly reducing electricity use. Additional savings can be generated by using the EnerLume-EM(TM) as an Energy Management System to dim or selectively curtail lights during after hour periods. There are six EnerLume-EM(TM) models. The highest capacity unit can manage as many as 2,300 two lamp fixtures or 1,150 four lamp fixtures. All of the models are UL and Canadian UL listed and meet NEC and NEMA electrical code requirements and safety standards. More detailed information can be found at http://www.enerlume.com/. EnerLume is a trademark of Host America Corporation.
