Pentagon Protection PLC 25 August 2004 Pentagon Protection Plc - Contract Gains Pentagon Protection plc ("Pentagon" or "the Company"), world-leading specialists in making glass safer and more secure (for vehicles and buildings), announces that its Pentagon Filmtek division has recently completed a contract worth some #450,000 to protect the glass of Terminal Buildings 1 and 2 of Changi Airport in Singapore. Following the completion of this prestigious project, the Company has won further international orders in the last two months, totalling #750,000. These include contracts from three leading UK banks to protect their buildings in the event of a terrorist bomb attack. Pentagon Filmtek is now a widely acclaimed leader in completing highly technical and complex projects where "glass containment" solutions are required and has been at the forefront in developing such solutions for several years. These include mitigating the risks associated with glass problems (such as spontaneous glass failure) or protecting the occupants of a building from injury in the event of a bomb-blast, a factor outlined in the Home Office and MI5 guidelines. Recent projects in the UK have included Eurostar (Waterloo Station), a #1.6 million undertaking that was project managed and executed by Pentagon Filmtek from start to finish.
