BakBone Software Announces Delay in Filing Quarterly Report
SAN DIEGO, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BakBone Software, Inc. (TSX: BKB;
OTC Bulletin Board: BKBOF) announced today that it will delay the filing of its
quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2004, with
the Securities and Exchange Commission pending completion of the interim review
by new auditors, Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Deloitte commenced work as BakBone's independent auditor on Monday, October 25,
2004. The Company was hopeful to complete the transition to its new auditors
in time to make its SEC filing deadline today and intends to complete its
review and file its Form 10-Q for the second quarter fiscal 2005 as soon as
practical.
The conference call announcing BakBone's second quarter fiscal year 2005
financial and operational results currently scheduled for Tuesday, November 16
at 1:30 p.m. PST, 4:30 p.m. EST will be cancelled and rescheduled concurrent
with its filing of Form 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
