Arcadia Resources Expands In-Home Health Care Business in Southwest Florida --Acquires Fort Myers Operations of Alternative Home Health Care-- SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Arcadia Resources, Inc., (OTC:ACDI) (BULLETIN BOARD: ACDI) , a leading provider of home care and staffing services, mail order pharmacy and durable medical equipment ("DME"), announced today that it has acquired the Fort Myers, Florida operations of Alternative Home Health Care of Lee County, Inc., a home care agency that provides licensed nurses, certified home health care aides and support services throughout Florida's lower Western Gulf Coast region. Alternative Home Health Care will retain ownership and operations of its office located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Upon full integration of the acquisition, Arcadia Resources plans to operate Alternative Home Health Care under the brand name Arcadia Health Care, as a wholly owned Arcadia company. In addition to supplying in-home health care to patients, Arcadia plans to offer durable medical equipment (DME) including respiratory/oxygen services. Tom White, Regional Manager of Arcadia's recently acquired United Health Care Services located Ft. Myers and Port Charlotte, Florida, will also manage Alternative Home Health Care.
