NEW YORK, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today lists the units of Triplecrown Acquisition Corp. under the ticker symbol TCW.U. The offering size is 48M units at $10.00 per unit for gross proceeds of $480M (excluding the underwriters' over-allotment option). One unit equals one share of common stock and one warrant. Initially, the units will be the only security trading. The IPO's lead underwriter is Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. with Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., Jefferies & Company and Broadband Capital Management LLC as co-managers. Triplecrown Acquisition Corp. is a newly organized company formed for the purpose of acquiring, through a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or other similar business combination, one or more businesses in the financial services industry.
