support clients in the middle market and wholesale space, AXA
XL has recently established dedicated cyber underwriting
teams for these client bases in the Americas.
Rachel Rossini leads the Middle
Market team while Deuayne Crawford is leading the cyber wholesale
underwriting team. Both report to Michelle Chia, Chief Underwriting Officer for
Cyber in the Americas.

a top concern for businesses of all sizes. We're a well-known cyber
market for large commercial cyber risk. Now, to accommodate
our clients' buying preferences and align with our broker partners'
distribution models, we've assembled these teams to address the
cyber insurance needs of a client base that is growing more
diverse."
As Head of Middle Market, Ms. Rossini leads a team of cyber
underwriters who will extend AXA XL's cyber insurance products and
services offers to mid-size businesses. Previously, she served as
Product Manager for Cyber and Technology E&O. She joined AXA XL
in 2018 from Sompo. She began her insurance career at Hiscox
as a graduate trainee. Ms. Rossini is based in Los Angeles.
Mr. Crawford joined AXA XL in
2022 from Ironshore, where he was responsible for managing
underwriting for cyber, media, technology and miscellaneous
professional liability insurance for mid-cap and large-cap clients.
He previously served as Head of the Northeast. Now, in
his new role as Head of Wholesale, Cyber and Technology E&O, he
will work with clients, and their wholesale brokers, to provide
tailored surplus lines cyber coverage. He is based in New York.
These two newly formed teams join AXA XL's Complex Cyber team,
led by Vernon Suckerman and its
Large Commercial Cyber team, currently led by Ms. Chia. Based in
Chicago, Mr. Suckerman and his
team take the lead on underwriting accounts with the most complex
cyber and E&O exposures and build appropriate insurance program
structures.
