Interference with its website and emails
ZincOx notes the technical problems relating to its web-site and e-mail communication during the course of last week and is pleased to advise that this has now been resolved.
The Company discovered that a luxury retail goods manufacturer, through its US attorney, obtained an injunction against the use of the domain name www.zincox.com for allegedly selling counterfeit retail goods. This was done, unfortunately, with no notice to ZincOx. The injunction, which commenced on 31(st) March, was ultimately identified on Friday 3(rd) April in the afternoon and ZincOx, through its UK solicitor, immediately contacted the US attorney. The US attorney has spent the Easter week-end obtaining an order from the judge lifting the injunction.
The website and email service began to operate normally this morning. However, any emails sent between 31(st) March and 6(th) April inclusive will not have been received by the intended recipient at ZincOx.
