Directors Granted Options 
 
The Company announces that on 21 January 2009, the directors of the Company were 
granted options to subscribe for ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company 
at a subscription price of 33.5 pence per ordinary share. The options were 
granted under the new share incentive plans approved at the Company's General 
Meeting on 16 January 2009. The number of ordinary shares under option granted

All options granted are subject to a three year vesting period and the 
satisfaction of certain performance conditions before they can be exercised. 
 
 
A further 822,500 options were granted to employees of the Company who are not 
directors. A total of 1,367,500 options were therefore granted under the above 
schemes.
