Cuthbert C S,
Off the top of my head, rare earth metals dont resemble gold, silver or platinum
at all.I think the Chinese have a virtual monopoly in them and have recently
refused to supply Japan with any more.

In case anyone has missed the small cap mention in the FT........

Zest Group, was marked up by over 34% to ½p after mining dealmaker David Lenigas said he would seek shareholder approval to switch its investment policy to rare earth minerals.

Yes i will stick with 3p for 1 reason rare earth minerals what are they? gold diamonds platinum all commanding high prices! have to have some of that which alone should drive price could even happen before the 29th.

Thoughts for Monday.

Mms know this has had a good write up in both the Times and the FT.
Potentially could open up at a premium to Fridays close!

They then drop the bid to scare out the newbies.
Come 11:30 starts rising again.

This is likely to be the new carbolic soap on a rope.

It certainly will be life changing having so many of these at appropriate prices.

How do you see the price progressing and where too. Your last thought was 3p seems rich but are you sticking to that.

Enjoy the coming week...best regards

Dunno about fatgut Knievel, but Bruce is sure on the money atm. Personally, or via his investment vehicles, he can be found in these flavour of the month hotties...
Vatukuola, Beowulf, Sound Oil, LGO.
Zest could turn out to be the big daddy of the lot when rare earths become the next hot potato.

yes - you're right! Only I can make the decision. And you're also right that many will be wondering the same thing. That's why I thought it would be fun to post the question, and see what peeps reckon.

I know I will add, and I know that it might go up or down after I do. But I'll sleep fine whatever happens, because I am absolutely convinced that in a short space of time this will significantly re-rate, then, when they actually start doing what they intend to do I am very confident in their track record and that they will deliver good growth over time.

But come Monday...what do you all expect - sky rocket that goes in to orbit and stays there, or froth that will evaporate when the profit taking kicks in?

It was almost impossible to buy a decent amount last week.
How many said they could sell millions but could only buy a couple of hundred K.

I actually think stock will be harder to accumulate leading upto news on week Monday.

Mms will have to let the bid go to allow demand to be satisfied

Soggy.....

Now that's the million dollar question that a lot will be asking Monday am....

It could fly & not stop who knows whats in store....You say its a significant holding (for you) if its going to make you uncomfortable or worry then leave it as it is, its not worth it.....

Only you can answer your question above...I believe it will gap up at open Monday am to what I do not know & will it pull back, if any of us could answer that we would all be millionaires..

I don't feel we will hang around 0.5p but that's only my opinion.

Be lucky with your decision & always make it your own buddy.

Advice please ladies!

I'm going to top up my (already significant for me) holding here. Do I try and pile in on MOnday before it rises any further, or do I wait to see if this froth pulls back a little before the EGM? After the EGM and the plans/deals are made known, I am pretty certain we will see a large re-rating, even with a massive placing.

So, opinions please - is this the lowest point (assuming I can get any on Monday before the herd pile in) or do you think there's likely to be a pullback from whatever high it reaches on Monday morning? (With such a massive % rise, surely there will be profit taking at some point?)

IMHO this will close above 0.6p end of Play Friday with ease....

Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks & bring on the action Monday am.

The two biggest financials mentioning Zest is excellent news moving forward.
This should rocket again on Monday but will claw back towards end of the week.
Week after it's all systems go leading upto DDay on the Monday.

Here you go.

ZEST soared 0.12p or 34.3% to 0.42 on AIM after the music business said it would start to invest in mining assets instead. David Lenigas, the Australian resources entrepreneur, joined Zest as an independent director in January. The loss making company is asking shareholders for approval to change its name to Rare Earth Minerals.
