RNS Number:0886X Zambezi Nickel Ltd 23 May 2007 23 May 2007 Zambezi Nickel Limited ("Zambezi Nickel" or the "Company") Uranium Expert Appointed to Board * Previously superintendent on three uranium plants * Experience in feasibility, design, development and operation of uranium projects Zambezi Nickel (AIM Code: ZNI) today announces the appointment of David John Lunt as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect. Mr Lunt, aged 57, has over 40 years of experience in the resources industry, principally in the fields of process engineering, corporate technical planning, feasibility studies, project and commissioning management and project risk analysis. His background includes a long association with GRD Minproc, where he most recently held the position of Chief Technical Officer for 10 years until 2005, when he established his own consultancy firm Stirling Process Engineering Ltd. David has been involved in a diverse range of projects covering a wide range of commodities throughout the world. He has particular experience in uranium processing and has held positions as plant metallurgist through to superintendent on three uranium plants in South Africa. In addition he has worked on design and feasibility studies for numerous uranium projects including ERGO, Key Lake, Ranger, West Rand Consolidated and Kintyre. Most recently he has been involved in the design of the Langer Heinrich project in Namibia. He has also been responsible for over thirty publications covering unit operations and project development within the metallurgical and infrastructure industries. "David's brings a wealth of experience in operations and project development to Zambezi Nickel. Mr Lunt, is a director of Stirling Process Engineering Limited. He is not, and has not been, a director or partner of any other company or partnership in the last five years. Mr Lunt does not hold any shares in the Company but under the terms of his service contract he is entitled to the grant of options over 350,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company, at a price of 10p per share. The options will not be granted to Mr Lunt until the date being 6 months from the date of his appointment at which point they can be exercisable at any time in the next three years.
