But could have made more, if I had sold them all earlier! Clock is ticking on Terry's plan now I'm afraid which is a real shame. Without Abasol approval this won't move forward. Latest acquisition looks like it may have fallen through, in which case they will be running low on cash.

I have to say that I also noticed that it said 'decision' in one place in the interim results. However, in the operational highlights at the beginning it says 'marketing approval' so I don't think we have anything to worry about.

Also the fact that banks have lent them money in a very difficult credit market to me is very reasuring. I cannot believe that any institution would have given them money without being assured that Abasol was going to be approved. After all Abasol is rather a major part of the business plan going forward in the short term. During your interactions with the regulator you get a pretty good idea of how it is going.

For what its worth, I also can't believe it would have taken this long if the MHRA were going to reject it. What has happened here is that we have an approvable drug but a file which was not of good quality. This is not surprising because it is difficult even for medium to big companies to put together the information required let alone a small outfit like YRK.

So as I've said before 'patience is a virtue' is a saying made for YRK. However, I think approval will finally come in the near future.

I'm disappointed to say that I've sold all of my York Pharma shares - bought mine at 25p and 50p, and this is my second disposal so I've made a reasonable profit.

I've sold because of 2 reasons:
- The latest acquisition has been funded by debt which is precisely what Terry said he wouldn't do following Bioglan;
- The Abasol statements look like it's going to be a negative decision to me. Talk about a decision in H2 rather than a approval in H2 - suggests to me that all is not well.

Good luck to those that remain, but my patience has finally run out after 4 years. Better to quit while I'm ahead (just!) in today's market.

The warrants are a complete punt in that you either lose the lot or make a fortune. So the downside is just 100% but the upside I would suggest is upwards of 1000%. To me that is a very good risk reward ratio especially now that we have a company which is essentially self sustaining. The approval of Abasol will clearly produce the really big win.

Thanks Nobby, interesting to hear your thoughts. With the markets as they are I think there will still be good opportunities to add at these prices but IMHO offer exceptionally good value. I may be looking to add a few more this week.

Nobby, the warrants look possible of sizeable increases but expire in February 2009, I guess if you think Abasol will be approved and licensing deals announced before then they are a very good bet.
