21/1/2011 13:47 | Matt, interesting to see that the posts on this thread represent only 10% of the people looking at it. As you say, could just be that more people are becoming aware of Yinggao, and the potential it represents in the logistics & shipping business in China. Though leaving aside the whims of buyers and sellers, good, solid updates and results will move this stock, one way or another. | damanko
21/1/2011 11:42 | wasn't so long ago that combined sales of 200k would have knocked this for a 20% fall .. if you could persuade the MM's to even take the stock anywhere near the quoted spread. Slowly but surely i feel the opportunity, value and growth prospects are being seen here by more investors. Hardly a trading stock yet but some consolidation around the 1.9-2.1 level for a while would be a good thing. Next couple of market updates this year might be an interesting read | mattjos
10/1/2011 19:01 | So am I at 1.3p | vauch
10/1/2011 13:04 | There you are 500k sold today and sat waiting for you to buy | davydoo
10/1/2011 10:31 | I also like the direction this co is moving in and see it as a good punt for the next few years. | vauch
10/1/2011 10:30 | A sharp on Friday so I expected a sharp drop and had funds for another 500k at 1.3 | vauch
10/1/2011 10:22 | whats made you think that Vauch? | davydoo
10/1/2011 10:13 | Looks as if we will have a move up again today, I was hoping for a hard pull back but it was not to be. | vauch
09/1/2011 18:37 | website has been steadily improving. I note this sentence: "The Company planned to rent an additional area of 400 acres land which is next to the terminal for the warehouse construction". if you consider that intent alongside the stated intent to expand the barging fleet, + the recent addition of the trading arm to the business, i believe it gives a fair indication of the significant expansion intent that is in progress here + they have the backing of their majority shareholder who has the firepower to help fund the CAPEX required. If you have any belief whatsoever in the future intra-country trading trends in the ASEAN community & understand the significance of the Pearl River Delta then it is my contention that Yinggao is well positioned for continued, sustainable & profitable growth. Despite the large single day jump in share price, it is still trading at a discount to its peer group on published figures and has growth to come. So, imo, a value stock & a growth stock all in one. Let's see if 2011 proves to be as pivotal here as i personally believe it will be. | mattjos
09/1/2011 14:08 | Well I hold 500k at this time but will try to add if we have a drop back. | vauch
09/1/2011 12:02 | I dont know, do you Vauch? | snobtimus shaime
09/1/2011 11:43 | Do we see this movement going higher this week. | vauch
07/1/2011 17:11 | fair enough Davy & I don't blame you at all. I think you still hold a few anyway and a bit of trading is always good practice along the way. That other one we discussed. Couldn't ignore it any longer and took a few today as an opener. Good heads from you there. Thnx. I won't post until you are ready - just advise | mattjos
07/1/2011 17:08 | Mattjos, in the past i might have agonised over it, but I would say my discipline now in buying and particularly selling has been the most significant improvement to my trading in the past 12 months. Particularly with illiquid stocks. I learnt this through AVAP and PGC in 2010, where i made substanital gains and was probably the largest trader in both shares despite being a very small, small investor. In both cases i stepped in over about 10 trades, and stepped out over another 10. Happy to have provided a little liquidity into todays market. | davydoo
07/1/2011 16:44 | Davy, Maybe I should have taken your advise and take the ones you sold, instead of waiting to see if it will fall a bit further. Being on the Top Riser list has brought it to the attention of a lot of people and if they do some research they will come to the conclusion that it is seriously under valued. | buggy
07/1/2011 16:04 | its not worth it. free-float doesn't encourage it, imo but, i know we each have our strategies & yes, is never 'wrong' to take a profit i guess. Mine are staying for good while yet though. we might be struggling in the West but intra-ASEAN trading volumes look set to rise and rise. | mattjos
07/1/2011 15:56 | profit is a profit | snobtimus shaime
07/1/2011 15:54 | Davy .. reckon you gonna regret that sale here today | mattjos
07/1/2011 15:42 | its just coming onto folks radar now, is all i believe. there is value here & there is growth here. why wouldn't it? | mattjos
07/1/2011 15:30 | I'm not really sure what happened today, I dont think volumes or values were high enough to be the day trading brigade. | davydoo
07/1/2011 14:37 | Davy, Thanks but I will wait to see if it fall back as the day traders exit. The fact that it was on the top risers list would have brought in a few speculators who will be eager to take profits. | buggy |
