YCO Group plc (AIM: YCO), a leading provider of specialist services to 
superyachts, today announces the resignation of Charles Smith as Group Finance 
Director and the appointment of his replacement, Ian Petts, Finance Director of 
YCO SAM, the brokerage and management division of the Group. The resignation of 
Charles Smith and the appointment of Ian Petts are both effective from 31 July 
2010 and Charles Smith has agreed to remain as an adviser to the Group for the 
next six months. 
 
Prior to joining YCO in 2008, Ian Petts was Financial Controller and Company 
Secretary for Hambledon Mining Group plc, an AIM quoted company. Since joining 
YCO in 2008, Ian has played an integral part in the financial management of the 
Group, its three subsidiary companies and the restructuring of the Group that 
has seen it return to profitability. He has worked closely with Charles 
throughout his time at the Group and will continue to do so during the six month 
transition period. A graduate of Cranfield University, Ian is a Member of the 
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having qualified with 
Deloitte & Touche for whom he worked between 2002 and 2005.

to be able to promote Ian to the role of Finance Director. He has proved himself

Group to fiscal health."
