A day with the blood relations

Got 16 kids round tomorrow for the joint birthday party of my two eldest daughters (5 & 7)

Gone for the Olympic theme.
Been making wreaths of Ivy for the headgear.

Boiled some eggs for the egg n spoon race.
Got limbo , shotput (watermelon), sprint, and long jump.

A bag of sausages from the butchers, and a good stock of liquor on offer.
Some of the yummie mummies will be staying. I will offer them each a glass.

I've been like Edward Scissor hands in the garden today too.
Just hope it doesn't rain.

Who needs nannies - just taken her for a walk around the booze aisle in Waitrose and her eyes lit up like sunbeams. I can see I'm going to be very proud of her*

My last child was born 48 years ago so I'm up for the challenge. I know it's going to be tough so, of course, I'll have nannies. A night nanny and a day nanny and a Sunday nanny and a holiday nanny and an aeroplane nanny. I'm ready for the hardship.
