Xploite plc ("Xploite", "the Group", AIM: XPT), the operator and aggregator of strategic and high growth IT services businesses, announces that Itheon, the Group's business solutions software subsidiary, has signed an agreement to license its Storage Resource Analysis (SRA) software to GlassHouse Technologies, Inc., a US-based global provider of IT infrastructure services and one of the world's leading independent consulting firms. The agreement includes a one off payment in the current financial year for hosting the software and subsequent royalties. GlassHouse focuses on the storage/data protection, virtualization and data centre markets and delivers consulting and managed services for many Fortune 500 customers and major technology vendors including IBM and Dell. Under the terms of this new license agreement GlassHouse will use Itheon's SRA software to provide storage assessments and ongoing storage analytics to its many clients. This agreement specifically includes the ability for GlassHouse to provide the SRA service to its vendors' customers thereby significantly expanding the potential market for Itheon's software. Commenting on this new agreement, Ian Smith CEO Xploite said: "This is a very exciting development for Itheon. The signing of this agreement with one of the world's leading storage consultancy firms fully substantiates the investment we have made in developing Itheon's software tools and the infinite 'Return On Effort' that SRA provides. "This really is only the tip of the iceberg; we have seen huge interest in the product and we expect to announce other major commercial and technical announcements related to Itheon's Storage Resource technology over the next few weeks."
