Form 10-K for Year Ended September 30, 2004 


IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 13  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gardenburger, Inc.
(OTC:GBUR) (BULLETIN BOARD: GBUR) , announced today that the filing of its
Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended September 30, 2004 would be
delayed beyond the extended filing date of January 13, 2005.  The Form 10-K for
the year ended September 30, 2004 will be filed as soon as is practicable.
