Shell and Chevron drilled wells which found oil and then they left the fields. Read the intrims, they dont even know if these fields are commercial without further drilling, hence they are called Marginal doh.

This is years away from production, could not sell Nigerian assets as there are no booked reserves (they are not called marginal fields for nothing). Would need plenty of finance as well. Very long term may be worth a punt.
