                              Exercise of Warrants 
 
Western Coal Corp ("Western" or the "Company") announces that further to the 
acquisition of Energybuild Group plc ("Energybuild") it has issued 833,000 
common shares of no par value in connection with the exercise of warrants in 
Energybuild.  The Company has applied for these shares to be admitted to AIM and 
it is expected that trading of these shares on AIM will commence on 6 October 
2010.   After this issue, the total number of issued and outstanding Western 
common shares is 346,028,111, including 72,122,826 issued and outstanding shares 
held by a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. As a result 273,905,285 common 
shares are held by the public.
