The Wensum Company Plc ("the Company")

Director's Share Dealing

D S Haggett, the Company's non-executive Deputy Chairman,
has  today  purchased 7,500 ordinary shares (representing
0.09 per cent. of the issued share capital) at a price of
109p per share.

D  S  Haggett, following this purchase, is interested  in
347,500  ordinary shares representing 4.47 per  cent.  of
the issued share capital.  D S Haggett, as joint trustee,
has  a non-beneficial interest in 280,000 of these shares
(representing  3.60 per cent. of the issued share  capital)
which  are  held  in trust for the children  of  the  other
directors of the Company, and 60,000 shares(representing 
0.77 per cent. of  the issued share capital) which are being 
held in trust for the benefit of his adult children.
