World Travel Holdings plc (the "Group" or "Company")


On 1 July 2003 the Company's shares were suspended by the London Stock Exchange,
pending the publication of the annual accounts for the year ended 31 December
2002.


The Company has for some time been reviewing the options available to it given
the cash constraints under which the Group has been operating.

On 16 July 2003 the Group announced the disposal by its 45 per cent owned
associate International Travel Agents Link Limited of the URLs Deckchair.com and
LeishureHunt.com for a cash consideration of #150,000 which was utilised for
that company's working capital requirements.


The Board now announces that the Company has also disposed of its remaining 50
per cent interest in the URL flights.com for a cash consideration of US$200,000
(approximately #120,000) which was applied in reduction of the Company's
liability to its secured creditor.


The Company and its subsidiaries have now exited the travel business, and come
to terms with the Company's creditors. The Board is now exploring the
possibility of acquiring a business in a different sector. This process is still
at an early stage but it is expected that additional capital will need to be
raised to conclude such an acquisition and to settle the Company's liabilities.


The Board expects to publish the results for the year ended 31 December 2002
once a firm decision to proceed with such an acquisition has been taken.
