Anyone else here excited about MAYA?

They want to buy back 4,247,500 shares (10%) for a maximum of £5,755,750

They have already bought back 340,000 shares for £205,611

So they still have to buy back 3,907,500 shares with £5,550,139

They can pay up to 142p (£5,550,139 / 3,907,500) to acquire the outstanding stock but for every share they buy below 142p, they can pay more than 142p to complete the buy-back, so the price should keep stepping up.

The objective of the buy back seems to be to get the share price up.

This could triple from here.

Andy,

You know the history here. He was telling everyone not to converse and telling everyone to block numb nuts, and insisting that he had done so, only for the moron to continue to read and reply to his posts. Numb nuts must be laughing his bits off at that moron, he is playing him like a puppet doll.

lyndem,

He's asking fair questions IMO.

A long term bull has just declared he's sold, so you have to ask why?

I suspect he's finally seen the light here, but there could be another reason of course.

Posters always let themselves down when they become evasive when asked basic questions. Any credibility is blown out of the window at that point.

Mug, if you are not a bear why did you sell, especially after holding for so long at MUCH higher prices & watching it fall, especially in light of the £1 per share payoff due next month?

Doesn't make sense. Can you please answer the questions mug & explain?

1) When did you sell?

2) Why did you sell?

3) Who do you think you are talking to when you address me?

Mug,

While I'm sure all thinking people congratulate you on seeing the light & becoming a QPP / WTF bear, albeit 2 years too late to avoid losing all your money, there are still three questions awaiting your reply which will hopefully go some way to explaining your 180 degree aboutface.

1) When did you sell?

2) Why did you sell?

3) Who do you think you are talking to when you address me?

why has no competitor yet served legal papers?

" A separate class action is likely to be pursued by ACA Lawyers, with the firm saying it was shoring up a case that would seek to recompense affected investors through a longer period than the class action pursued by Maurice Blackburn. "

I think that any thinking person will be able to see what is happening here. Bluster from a competitor, trying to cause as much damage as possible?

These group actions are old news.

If you hold stock in share, you can understand someone being obsessive about that company. But if you don't, like our good friend, ionlypostbecauseiloveTW, & you post over 1000 times on the same company, then what is the motivation? Mad, bad or sad?

That £50m held in escrow was probably an afterthought back when SGH were slinging hundreds of millions around buying worthless leads from QPP. Now they desperately need it for the very survival of the company.

Expect a protracted & bitter fight.

All old news!
And bluster
Even MB admits SGH is not going bust. Only TW is that silly.
He promised us that it would be bust by last June.

Yikes! Will it ever end?

Numb Nuts, maybe you should have held WTG & sold SGH?

Oh dear, more trouble for SGH & it's mug shareholders.

"Listed law firm Slater & Gordon is facing a class action that is $100 million bigger than its market cap, but it is unlikely to drive the law firm to insolvency, says Maurice Blackburn."

On Wednesday, Maurice Blackburn filed a $250 million class action on behalf of more than 3000 shareholders, including over 80 institutional investors and super funds. The action is backed by litigation funder International Litigation Partners."

"The reality is that the business was a basket case before the class action and after the class action," he said of Vocation.
