                               Sale of Subsidiary


The Wigmore Group plc is pleased to announce the sale of Blanchards, its
Salisbury-based building company, to the management of Blanchards for #574,000.
This will result in a goodwill write-down of #750,000 which will be taken in the
group accounts for the year to 31 December 2004. Blanchards is expected to make
a loss before tax of #313,682 for the year to 31 December 2004.

The sale, which includes the maintenance and customer care businesses previously
carried out by First National Property Maintenance, whose activities were merged
with Blanchards from 1st January 2005, represents the planned divestment of its
non core subsidiaries allowing the company to focus on the core business of
Speymill and its contracting services for the hotel and leisure industry. The
proceeds of sale from the disposal will be used to provide working capital to
the core business.

The company expects to publish a business review along with its preliminary
results for 2004 by the end of this month.
