Hi,

I am a private investor in your company, have been for years, usually we would have got a final results rns weeks ago, previous years we have had them on the 3rd and 8th april, when will they be published do you think, also are you still in a possible offer period ?

Thankyou

bid approach announced today - excellent news.

the sector is valued at 100-150% as Enterprise Value/Sales.

with sales of £13m and net debt at say £2m the VERO equity should thus be worth £11-17m or 29-43p.

as the predator is said to be a financial investor, assume they will look for a bargain however hardly less than 20-25p.

this announcement should also trigger interest from potential trade buyers - there are quite a few out there who should be willing to pay the "full value" as outlined above. with 93% gross margin, Vero should offer scope for significant synergies.

exciting times for Vero shareholders - eventually!

Thanks Spec, there's quite a few other spectacular situations I've highlighted as well. Nevertheless still digesting the Vero results but in the meantime just wanted to add the following comments.Exceptional items amounting to £445k for the amalgamation of the two UK offices and the reorganisation of China subsidiary + last deferred payment of £600k for the last three acquisitions have obviously created financial pressures without these they would not have breached their banking covenants.Fortis will not seek the immediate repayment which gives comfort. However ongoing cost savings amount to approx £500mln a year and it's obviously unfortunate that they are paying for them now before they start to derive the benefits.Take this with the fact that they will not have to make another £600k deferred payment obviously gives them plenty of headroom so I have absolutely no concern about their financial future.

Brokers WH Ireland were forecasting £1.9mln or 3.8p for the current year before the results and with Vero trading on a historic p/e of just over 5 times IMHO they remain substantially undervalued as some Investors have been quick to realise

Disingenuous for the Chairman not to mention the loan issue, leaving it to the footnotes. Today's comments look balanced (which is not the norm on this thread!), but investors will be quite right to avoid a company where loan covenents have been breached, with increased revenues earnt in part purely because of a weak pound, results delayed without notification, and such is their love of the market they issue an RNS once every four months.

Re Valdamos: i could not agree with you more - BlueOar have a very questionable reputation after the WORTHINGTON NICHOLLS fiasco (and others) costing investors tens of millions of pounds. their analysts and corporate advisors are typically of B- quality and the sooner Vero oust these people out, the better for the company and its shareholders!

and as you pin point: it would have been useful if the Broker coordinate its info a bit better with the company in advance of this announcement! very low quality work there. if any.

dear rainmaker

i much appreciate your views on VERO and the interesting combination of a technical analysis with a more fundamental one - in this case they no doubt "match each other". VERO has implemented a 1st class business strategy and with a 93% gross margin they are very little vulnerable - it is more a question of how fast they can grow and the vital aspect for that will be the free cash generated. no doubt the shares are seriously undervalued, but it seems the company needs a large supportive investor to sweep the market for shares - WHO the h-l is selling at these levels one might ask!?!?

VERO Software plc (VERO-AIM) S.P. 17.75p. Market Cap £6.89m.

Week by week I enjoy the cut and thrust of share trading as a private Investor I have to take risks to make a profit from my Investments, so when I came across VERO back a few weeks ago I decided to Invest some of my profits from other deals. . As I had note that the turnover increased by 10 percent over the last years trading and I can see more profits yet to come. Click onto to find out all about the company..

I would agree with you LPF-this a product that there is a demand for from their existing Customers. Vero up today from 15/16.5p to 16/17p and it will interesting see if VERO can build on this rally in the coming days. Anyhow, as already mentioned in Post 22 for the reasons given strongly believe that share price will be substantially higher come April, regardless of general market conditions. Today was another wake up call, reminding Investors just how cheap VERO is !

Judging by a series purchases on Friday and the recent release of the interim results,Vero may well have been tipped the in the latest issue of Investors Chronicle. Can anyone paraphrase what they said?
