If they are not interested in the short term losses ..what are they hoping to gain?

I would just like to get your take as to where the Chinese see the value in VGM and how they plan on realising that value.

The Chinese Government NEED Commodities and so they are Doing Strategic Moves on a Worldwide Scale.
They aren't interested in Short Term Losses !

They haven't taken over the Company perhaps for Political Reasons.
Fiji Government could be worried !

The price has fallen from massive highs, seems that the $40mil investment will come.

What difference will it make the revenue overheads etc?

it's amost 3x current market cap!
Just trying to get my head around why they would give a loss making company so much capital rather than just take them over

VGM have been selling Gold at a loss for sometime now.
You would have noticed that VGM's Costs have been Slashed in the last 3 months (the reasons have been given in the Update) and so their losses would have been reduced.
They may be in Profit in the next Quarter if this continues.

The Company have been Developing in the last few years and the fruits of the development is now producing results.
The Company don't have ANY cash worries !

I don't know what the Price of Gold will be in the next few years but if it is High then VGM will be in a perfect position to do well.
