Below from B and M... should follow on to UPGSDiscount shops operator B&M European Value Retail has announced a 25.4% increase in full-year pre-tax profits to £229m. The company, which increased its footprint by a net 39 new stores to a total of 576, achieved the profits increase on revenues up 22.4% at £2.9bn. It is planning to open a further 45 net new stores this year and sees a long-term opportunity for the company to expand to a network of at least 950 UK stores under the B&M name. Chief executive Simon Arora says B&M is prospering in a retail sector undergoing "profound structural change" partly because its business model is "one of those disruptive changes to the old order which are fundamentally reshaping the industry."

Did a trading statement on 11th Sept last year - but doesnt have a long history - could be anywhere between 1st August and then - no history of a pre-close TS.

Anyone in (STX), I bought that one as a similar recovery play, just stared a move but dyor as usual.

Of course it was the fall to the 30s was extremely overdone. I added 300k shares below 32p and managed to lower my average to 39p

hopefully looks like a bottom has been firmly established and now on the uptrend.

perhaps this stock was overly punished by the market for its disappointing announcements so soon after IPO.

Buying a share thats trending upwards is a better strategy than averaging down
