+10% today which is very pleasing.

Like your maths Croasdalefc. Looks about right to me.

Good to see you here rivaldo, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Prelims not due until early Nov, so hoping for an update before then?

Don't forget that their Chairman is James McCarthy, formerly CEO of Poundland from 2006-2016. He grew Poundland sales from £300m to £1.3bn and had several other leading roles in retail prior.

He will serve as a great mentor to the impressive Simon Showman, founding CEO who has grown the current business into a major force with products available in thousands of stores and a significantly growing online presence.

Showman has a "goldilocks" shareholding of 22.6% - not too high but with a lot to play for and significant skin in the game.

Their sales growth is phenomenal.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

Also managed to pick up 7,530 at 199.2 this morning at 5 seconds past 8. Must have been a few cheap ones on the books which disappeared in the first 30 seconds or so Re-read the scsw tip from the weekend, so added a further 3759 at 204.9 later. Happy to be almost £1k up on the day as we stand, but here for a long term bet on this one.

I also bought some of these this morning following the article. Never heard of it before, so it was an interesting - and exciting - read. Don't know why I'd never come across it before.

Cfc, they quote Shore Capital's 9.5p historic EPS to July'17, with 11.3p EPS this year and 13.2p EPS next year.

But with "several targets" being assessed for acquisition, BME and Action's growth, online sales etc you can see the potential for upgrades.

Did scsw give a forecast of EPS for July 17?

Darola - my average is 160 and over 10% of portfolio so happy to play the long game :)My projection is 11.6p EPS July 17 and approx 14.5p in July 18. @ 25% growth and maintaining marginsThe big dangers are losing a contract with BME or Action and squeezed margins.Upside is growth in online sales plus piggybacking onto discount retailers growth.Forward EPS of 15p should earn a rating of 350p

Sleeping Lion at the moment, it's good to see some attention. I'm a bit overweight on UPGS (10% of my portfolio) but very confident it will pay off...

There was a board meeting planned for early this month, it may have happened last week? I reckon there is a trading update due this week and it's going to be very very positive. The discount retail sector is booming and these are a core supplier into it.

There not really big buys in the grand scheme of things. share price moves when buyers outweigh available shares and sellers, to convince sellers to give up theirs shares. Or if moving down to convince buyers to buy available shares and match up with sellers.
I'd suggest that the current volumes are easily obtained from free float, so not going to influence the price other than minor tweaks

Why is this share price not moving on these big buys?

Be interested to get a Chartists view on this, so long as it keeps above the resistance line which looks to be around 1.90, it should continue to rise.

I'm working on the premise that its reacting on no news, so continues to be a very bright prospect. The B&M news appears to be conjecture but may have some contribution to recent price movement - but I prefer to look at that as another foot in Walmarts door!!

Hopefully the board will sanction an update next month and we will continue to climb and grow, as have the customers that we supply! 😀
