16/5/2008 11:05 | Second sentence part 1 "Ahmad Ali Harati Nik, Director (and Head of?) IMIDRO, added: this Australian company wants the licence... | nobull
16/5/2008 09:48 | First sentence of the article dated 11/5/08 I make that mean (based on being only a beginner level Persian language learner and based on the above table and on general knowledge of the company): "Australian Company has started Lead and Zinc Process Plant (Design) on expectation of receipt of Mehdiabad mining licence." | nobull
15/5/2008 10:23 | I think the heading of the above article sounds like a re-statement of the Iranian position From the above I get "Australians have made (had?) process plant responsibility in our? understanding (of?) Mehdiabad mining licence". | nobull
14/5/2008 11:30 | Another article that mentions Australia (Australians?) and Mehdiabad. It is dated Sunday 11th May 2008 (Sunday is a working day in Iran). No idea what it says but it ties in with the fact that talks to resolve the dispute have been/are going on in Dubai. | nobull
12/5/2008 16:00 | Article dated 4th May 2008 (15th Ordibehesht 1387) that mentions Mehdiabad, the mining licence and an "OSTRALEE-AH-EE-EE" company, which I assume is us. No idea what it says. | nobull
27/4/2008 17:01 | No mention of us or Mobin Group in the above article, so perhaps it is not important. The headline mentions something about 100,000 tons of earth from Mehdiabad. | nobull
27/4/2008 11:32 | News out today. No idea if it is good or bad. The picture below shows Dr. Mohamadee, the Head of Impasco, our 50% Govt. partner in Mehdiabad. I've highlighted the word "Mehdiabad" in blue. Cannot find any references in the press to a British trade mission to Iran other than to one scheduled to take place in the Autumn. There was mention of one in the Teheran Times?/ Imidro newsletter, but no details. Nothing for it but to remain scared to death with this stock. | nobull
16/4/2008 21:30 | I have highlighted the word for Mehdiabad above in blue. The gentleman in the picture is Dr. Mohamadee, the Head of IMPASCO, our 50% Govt. partner. Below is a typical contract ceremony with an Iranian company. The man standing second from the right in the background is the Deputy Minister for Mines and Industry who cancelled all our agreements. | nobull
03/4/2008 16:30 | A company called Mobin has been mining the Oxides at Mehdiabad on behalf of IMPASCO apparently, which puts a new twist on the previous pronouncements about Mehdiabad going into production. Mobin Group = مبي According to an answer given to a German shareholder, URL/UCL.AX doesn't wish to be committed to going to arbitration as the situation is "fluid" in Iran at present, despite the deadline of 31/3/08 for resolving the dispute having been passed. | nobull
31/3/2008 08:10 | It has been pointed out on www.hotcopper.com.au that no optimism is justified from the above statement that Mehdiabad is to be developed soon for the simple reason that 5 days later the company issued a statement totally devoid of any optimism that a solution will be found. So it is back to gloom, and if we are lucky we will get an announcement about going to arbitration shortly. Ugh. | nobull
18/3/2008 20:41 | Zinc = روي Mehdiabad = مهد Union Resources Australia (EE-OO-NEE-OON RESEROOS OSTRALEEA?) = يون Union Resources is not mentioned in the article but that's how you spell it in Farsi if you want google on it in the Persian press. I got the spelling from an old article in Yazd Farda.) Just spotted it: the article does mention EE-OO-NEE-OON KAPITAL = يون Mehdiabad article mentioned in #56 is here in full from Unfortunately there is no English translation. Text ought to be right aligned but don't know how to do it. مدي خاك ادع 1386/12/21 03-11-2008 08:46:19 8612-10121: كد خبر خبر سرو اگر ارد وي در عين سعد گفت |
