Posted at 15/12/2023 18:38 by tapa7 Hey RagosExtremely reasonable question and you're probably not the only one wondering so I will answer it and hopefully that clears things for some. Specifically talking about advn, I didn't have a clue this board existed until Oct when searching for Tremors news and it popped up on googles first page. I do run/manage another international/foreig So the Alphonso case was totally unknown to me and to them until I read posts about it here. In fact if you look at my previous posts I often wondered what was the fuss about it? With regards to getting in touch with the company, or any company in general, we (talking about the approach me and my fellow investors in the other group always take) is first going via the official IR email, sometimes we use our linked in (a lot of us are in the financial sector) and so we just message the ceo or cfo directly if their PMs are switched on in linkedin, alternatively you just google the executives names and usually their email is firstname.lastname@c In my specific case, me/my group have met 3 times now with Tremor, Ofer included so our faces and names are not unknown to them. The smaller the company the easier it is to reach out to them but I have met with billion dollar executives in the past, so it is possible too. A lot has to do with your approach and how you draft the email/message. LinkedIn is definitely your friend for these things. |
Posted at 04/12/2023 22:45 by tapa7 2. Tremor should benefit from these inflows and renewed interest for riskier equities especially given the combination of business fundamentals and valuation, I expect this confluence to drive interest by both small and big investors.Coincidently, today the ADR ended the day with almost 1M IN VOLUME, this is 10x HIGHER than the average trading day and there's two clear as water huge candles at 6pm and another just before close where someone made a huge dump but then it was picked up straight away. My point being that the stock may be getting flagged as an appealing instrument by trading algorithms and it was (today at least) under the radar of one of them already. This can go for the better or for the worse but given the potential for the stock, I think being in the radar of algos and volume screeners could result in a decent run before Christmas. Either that or some news are about to break. I wouldn't think so at this time of the year and only couple weeks after the ER. The only exception could be if we are talking about a potential buyer. I have seen this before, this year actually, where a huge volume spike preceded a buy out and it was horrible for the investors but I don't want to be this pessimistic. Fingers crossed it's just gathering momentum. What's everyone's thoughts about today's volume with no new news? |

Posted at 04/12/2023 12:25 by ragos Today copied from yahoo finance article by simply wall street"Significantly high institutional ownership implies Tremor International's stock price is sensitive to their trading actions A total of 3 investors have a majority stake in the company with 59% ownership Recent sales by insiders Every investor in Tremor International Ltd (LON:TRMR) should be aware of the most powerful shareholder groups. The group holding the most number of shares in the company, around 51% to be precise, is institutions. Put another way, the group faces the maximum upside potential (or downside risk). Because institutional owners have a huge pool of resources and liquidity, their investing decisions tend to carry a great deal of weight, especially with individual investors. As a result, a sizeable amount of institutional money invested in a firm is generally viewed as a positive attribute." Always said the big boys holding all the cards, why would they hang on if there was no hope? R |
Posted at 23/11/2023 14:54 by 1gw Major shareholders are likely to be included in the roadshow, aren't they, and offered one-on-one sessions with management following results?"Ofer Druker, Tremor’s CEO, Sagi Niri, Tremor’s CFO, and William Eckert, Tremor’s Vice President of IR, meet regularly with institutional investors, usually in relation to the issuance of financial results, and endeavour to accommodate all meeting requests from investors." (from 2022 AR) The AGM for AIM-listed companies has typically been the main opportunity for retail shareholders to talk directly to management. They still refer to this in their 2022 Annual Report, believe it or not: "The Board recognises the AGM as an important opportunity to meet private shareholders. The directors – both non-executive and executive – are typically also available to speak to shareholders informally immediately following the AGM. The Company’s executive directors hosted an investor presentation in November 2022 specifically to engage with the private investor community. Five of Tremor’s six non-executive directors are UK-based and available to meet with shareholders as requested." |
Posted at 21/11/2023 14:33 by tapa7 Well, to a degree it is indeed plausible to think that some stop losses were already set around the 140gbx area to protect those investors from an eventual sharp drop on Wednesday and it just turns out they were activated a day too early, but in such case I'd expect the stock to pick back up today and those investors to buy the dip and set new SLs as opposed to wait on the sidelines until tomorrow. The logic behind it being - Why would they want to miss out on a potential positive reaction to the ER? |
Posted at 19/10/2023 09:19 by tractorhead Thanks for reply JonC. OK, that is your view.So I guess you are not long TRMR! Are you short? If not, can I ask what is your interest in this stock and why are you taking your time to post here? I guess the instituional investors (along with all shareholders) in TRMR have a different view to yours. They are profesionals with large and well connected research teams. They will have direct access to management and be able to grill them. Yes, the Directors are paying themselves a LOT... but if in the end they can pull off a highly profitable money making machine (for investors, advertisers and publishers alike), will we mind? The time now is for management to prove itself. Of course they have no control of macro stuff so we may need to wait till economic envirnment improves... So, let us know why you are posting. This will help folk decide whether to listen to you or not. Waiting... |
Posted at 05/10/2023 18:13 by tractorhead Tapa7, you are not making sense. If you are an investor that usually means you are a long term holder and should not be too concerned about short term market movements. If you have a stop loss in place you could have your position closed out by short term price volatility which would defeat your long term objective! Are you saying investors should use stop losses or avoid them? Please clarify. Also are you an investor here? |
Posted at 17/8/2023 19:17 by gypsyfortuneteller www.fool.com/investiSays it all Investors are losing patience with the company after a pricey acquisition. What happened Advertisers and agencies aren't spending money as expected, and shares of advertising technology (adtech) company Tremor International (TRMR -30.35%) are getting smashed today as a result. As of 12:15 p.m. ET, Tremor stock was down a painful 30% and had touched all-time lows during the session after the company announced its earnings results for the second quarter. So what Tremor International is both a demand-side and supply-side adtech platform with a focus on connected TV (CTV) -- most adtech companies pick one side or the other. While the company did enjoy 13% year-over-year revenue growth in the second quarter of 2023, revenue (excluding traffic acquisition costs -- a common adtech adjustment) of $84.2 million was well short of Wall Street's expectations of about $97 million. Also disappointing investors today were Tremor's net losses. In Q2, the company had a $3.6 million loss compared with a profit of $2.4 million in the prior-year quarter. This is partially because it acquired rival Amobee in September 2022, a company that was losing money at the time. While Tremor's management says it's already implemented $65 million in annualized savings, the Q2 loss wasn't what the market wanted to see. And there are additional frustrations with this acquisition. Now what Tremor acquired Amobee for $239 million -- a huge amount for a small-cap stock -- to accelerate its growth. At the time of acquisition, management said it expected the combined companies to generate $500 million in full-year 2023 revenue. Then in the fourth quarter of 2022, that guidance was lowered to $400 million. With today's earnings results, Tremor has lowered full-year revenue guidance yet again to between $320 million and $330 million. For perspective, Tremor generated revenue of $302 million in 2021 on its own. In short, the acquisition of Amobee has come at substantial cost with nothing to show for it. And that's why investors see little reason to buy this stock today. |
