17/4/2016 17:38 | Imagination tech bought MIPS in 2012. I'd say their focus is more on that? They've been spending a lot of money developing their 'Warrior' SoC and lost a number of their customers to ARM's complimentary GPUs. IMHO, I think they needed the money so sold out. Also, IMG are partly held by both Intel and Apple so maybe conflict of interests for IMG / Toumaz? | juleshoddy
17/4/2016 16:06 | Rob, I've not been following TMZ closely and missed the Marvell tie up I wonder if this was part of the cause, or part of the effect, of the major changes at IMG. Did IMG have any comment? | gnnmartin
17/4/2016 11:47 | chillpill - Is this the US based FS competitor you mentioned? hxxp://www.librewire | iamnoone
17/4/2016 11:18 | I think if you do a bit of digging they have started in Texas and Pennsylvania.I imagine they will have a similar timeline to those with the NHS so not worth getting too excited about. I look forward to a resolution to the Sensium saga as it is a drag on the share price with the burnrate still in the region of 7-800k per month. | chillpill
17/4/2016 10:50 | I don't think anyone has any idea on the likely start of the Sensium trials in the US, never mind their completion. | rob_evans
17/4/2016 01:34 | Does anyone have any ideas on the likely timings of the completion of the Sensium trials in the US? | chillpill

16/4/2016 13:24 | chillpill > "there are only 3 companies that will be making chips for the GoogleCast platform" And TMZ won't be one of them - they gave up on their IMG IP based chip and passed it back to IMG. TMZ will be using a Marvell chip for their connected audio module (that incorporates Google Cast). | rob_evans
16/4/2016 12:10 | chillpill - we really need the names of the US and Aussie companies to research whether your post 3317 is a correct assertion. I hope you are genuine , if so then this is very good news, but after years and years on bb's , I am a total sceptic and work on the null hypothesis, that I don't trust anyone, especially those new to the board or indeed ADVFN ;-) S | sweenoid
16/4/2016 11:14 | I don't know the Austrian company's name off the top of my head but they are only suppliers to some niche products. The US supplier has a much inferior product.I expect TMZ to have over 50% market share. | chillpill
16/4/2016 09:34 | who's the Austrian maker chillpill? Chromecast sales info (probably v1 and v2) : The company confirmed that Chromecast was the best-selling media streaming device in the United States in 2014, according to NPD Group. In February 2015, Google Korea announced that about 10 million Chromecasts had been sold globally in 2014. At Google I/O in May 2015, the company announced 17 million units had sold since launch, a figure that reached 20 million by September 2015. According to Strategy Analytics, Chromecast captured more than 35% of the digital streamer market internationally in 2015. | juleshoddy
16/4/2016 05:55 | Thank you for some valued input here. You might be interested to know there are only 3 companies that will be making chips for the GoogleCast platform. One is from the US and one from Austria. TMZ are quietly confident they will be the market leader. Currently in the final testing stage. The first volume shipments are not far off. | chillpill
15/4/2016 14:45 | Has the making of a rise into 4p coming weeks / months. To break that it will need to see some really good news. So plenty of upside at the moment. | blueteam

13/4/2016 08:44 | That is hugely encouraging. The market doesn't understand the googlecast aspect. It will blow a few people's socks off!! | monty panesar
13/4/2016 08:00 | On valuation and real potential this year I have this at the 4p level. A long way off but slowly the pieces are coming together. | blueteam
