Imagination tech bought MIPS in 2012. I'd say their focus is more on that? They've been spending a lot of money developing their 'Warrior' SoC and lost a number of their customers to ARM's complimentary GPUs. IMHO, I think they needed the money so sold out. Also, IMG are partly held by both Intel and Apple so maybe conflict of interests for IMG / Toumaz?

Rob, I've not been following TMZ closely and missed the Marvell tie up
I wonder if this was part of the cause, or part of the effect, of the major changes at IMG. Did IMG have any comment?

I think if you do a bit of digging they have started in Texas and Pennsylvania.I imagine they will have a similar timeline to those with the NHS so not worth getting too excited about.
I look forward to a resolution to the Sensium saga as it is a drag on the share price with the burnrate still in the region of 7-800k per month.

And TMZ won't be one of them - they gave up on their IMG IP based chip and passed it back to IMG. TMZ will be using a Marvell chip for their connected audio module (that incorporates Google Cast).

chillpill - we really need the names of the US and Aussie companies to research whether your post 3317 is a correct assertion. I hope you are genuine , if so then this is very good news, but after years and years on bb's , I am a total sceptic and work on the null hypothesis, that I don't trust anyone, especially those new to the board or indeed ADVFN

I don't know the Austrian company's name off the top of my head but they are only suppliers to some niche products.The US supplier has a much inferior product.I expect TMZ to have over 50% market share.

Thank you for some valued input here.You might be interested to know there are only 3 companies that will be making chips for the GoogleCast platform.One is from the US and one from Austria. TMZ are quietly confident they will be the market leader.
Currently in the final testing stage. The first volume shipments are not far off.

On valuation and real potential this year I have this at the 4p level. A long way off but slowly the pieces are coming together.
