Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Directors of The Food & Drink Group Plc are pleased to announce the
appointment of John Williams FRICS as Non-Executive Director, with immediate
effect.

John spent 41 years at Healey & Baker, the commercial property company. He was
appointed Partner in 1964, Equity Partner in 1969, Managing Partner in 1977 and
retired in 1996.  Mr Williams remained a consultant to that company until 1998.
 While at Healey & Baker, Mr Williams was responsible for all UK retailing
activities with special focus on lettings, acquisitions and landlord and tenant
matters.

He was a Non-Executive Director of Luminar plc from 1996 until 2004.

Drink Group. John has a wealth of experience in the UK retailing and property
market and we look forward to working with him going forward."
