A real problem to date has been the low volume. The better news flow and share consolidation can only help. I really do hope we see some organic growth in the business this year.

going back a few years the directors brought quite a few shares i havent seen them sell yet i think they will take advantage of them now, just look at the amount of trades to day were they buys or sells

steady on there vern, dividends could be a way off yet....its anybodies guess, but I do think the reason for the consolidation was to enable a situation where that could more easily happen.Fingers crossed.

I thought the news was positive relative to anything I have heard before. Happy to see how this new situation unfolds.

You never know, it might ,they've become so good at cost control that the 2% increase in turnover may be going straight to the bottom line. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the profit on disposal.I keep getting a whiff of "special dividend" but this is probably wishful thinking. They will eventually get noticed I'm confident about that.

The FDG website now lists HJB sites worldwide whereas the old HAR website only listed the London sites. Not sure if FDG receive an annual franchise income from them all but it looks impressive.

I think the spread will put people off for a while but this should change as the newsflow increases and the turnaround becomes more obvious, a trading update before the interims might help.As a long term holder (sufferer) I'll be looking to add a few more when the picture becomes clearer.

Halifax are not trading these yet! Was going to add a few.

A quiet opening under the new name. Let's see how the new share price behaves.

not sure how it opened at £1.75.This is higher than I anticipated (£1.60 ) still I guess I'll be getting slightly fewer shares when they eventually arrive. My guess is a maiden divi to be announced within a year.

Another thanks GC. With you all the way regarding the recovery, I think the way its run now is up several divisions from its sunday league status of say 5 years ago.Bags of potential in HJBs and all other outlets running profitably.
Keep up the good work Kowsun and Thomas.

John

Let's hope it is a new dawn. I lost a bucket load from 4p and then bought another bucket load at the bottom so still not broken even but sense a recovery play here.

I suppose we better start a new thread for Hartford. Let's hope it's the start of something big and a bright future for us all.
