15/8/2005 16:04 | But if you going to invest in China then that's a risk you have to take. As the company is listed on AIM, I think the risk is reduced. | hyper al
15/8/2005 15:56 | Hyper- Al, am just a bit cautious of Chinese stocks because I think the market is. Exchange rates and accounting standards? | dibbs
15/8/2005 15:53 | Not sure how many shares MM's have, but that is a good chunk gone. | hyper al
15/8/2005 15:52 | 500k was also a buy! If you look at the time, it was purchased at mid price, but price went up just after transaction, so that makes it a buy. | hyper al
15/8/2005 15:50 | 850k was a delayed 84 p trade from 15.30, if you look at the bid offer price at the time you can see it was a buy, the price moved up just after the trade as well. | hyper al
15/8/2005 15:47 | Dibbs No worries mate. I get the same problem when I have my PC on all day, I think it's memory (computer memory, that is) overload. Some poor quality software can leak over a period of time and the PC gets slow and starts doing strange things. See TES opening higher tomorrow. | hyper al

15/8/2005 15:39 | Hyper AL , half my post was lost. I'm not trying to dis the company. JWY are trading on a current PE | dibbs
15/8/2005 15:33 | Dibbs That 850k buy! confirms my believe in this share. Someone wants this stock! | hyper al
15/8/2005 15:30 | Dibbs I purchased knowing that placing was at 17p. This company is very different from the ones you mention. It is a fully established retail business in China. Demand in this sector is VERY high. Demand ofr mobile phones in CHina is even higher. I see this as a bargain. I would love to know if this was over subscribed. | hyper al
15/8/2005 15:25 | Placing at 17p though, many sitting on a fat profit, as soon as trading begins in new shares the price may well drift for a while. Also look at CWO and JWY, both pure PRC plays. JWY on current PE | dibbs
15/8/2005 15:24 | EBT even get awards " 3/10: Service Integrity Award granted to EBT by Shanghai Consumer Council 2005-3-10 Shanghai (March 10, 2005) – EBT Mobile, a leading Chinese mobile retail chain, was granted the Service Integrity Award for 2004 by the Consumer Protection Committee of the Shanghai Consumer Council. Every year, the Shanghai Consumer Council grants this award to leading Shanghai-based retailers that have demonstrated exemplary values and have consistently upheld the highest levels of integrity in the marketplace. The Council cited, among other reasons for granting EBT this distinction, the company's strong record of customer satisfaction. In 2004, no consumer complaints were filed against EBT, as per sample statistics, a very rare achievement in the retail sector. "We are honored to receive this award," said Zhang Ge, COO of EBT. "EBT strives to maintain the highest level of integrity and places great value on customer service. We will endeavor to continue to do so in the future. We are glad the Shanghai Consumer Council has recognized our efforts". | hyper al
15/8/2005 15:09 | Quote from their website at "History: EBT has been a leader in the Chinese retail sector for over eight years, since its founding in 1996. Previously a joint venture with China Everbright Technology, part of the China Everbright Group, EBT has a long history of serving customers' mobile needs in China. With over 60 locations in Shanghai, Suzhou, and the surrounding region (see Store Locations), EBT has established itself as a leader in China's mobile retail sector. And the future? EBT believes that this is just the start. People's lives will increasingly be run from the palm of their hands-from their mobile phones. EBT will continue to provide products and services that enhance its customers' mobile experience, through an ever-expanding network of locations." | hyper al
