GBP400,000,000 7.738 per cent. Guaranteed Class A Unwrapped Bonds due 9 April 2058 (the "Bonds")

(incorporated in the Cayman Islands with registered number MC-187772)

unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by

THAMES WATER UTILITIES LIMITED, THAMES WATER UTILITIES HOLDINGS LIMITED, THAMES WATER UTILITIES FINANCE LIMITED AND THAMES WATER UTILITIES CAYMAN FINANCE HOLDINGS LIMITED

The Issuer today announces the issue of the Bonds pursuant to its GBP10,000,000,000 multicurrency programme for the issuance of guaranteed bonds (the "Programme"). The proceeds of the Bonds are to be lent to the parent company of the Issuer, Thames Water Utilities Limited.

The Issuer also announces that the GBP400,000,000 7.241 per cent. Guaranteed Class A Unwrapped Puttable Callable Reset Bonds due 2058 (XS0356007012) issued by the Issuer pursuant to the Programme by way of Final Terms dated 9 April 2008 will be cancelled.
