Ten Alps Communications plc: Merger of Events Companies

Ten Alps Communications plc, the media group, announces that it has merged and
relaunched its two events companies under the single brand Ten Alps Events.

The combined businesses of Dr Party Limited and the events company formerly
called Pacesetter Associates Limited will also be housed under one premises.

The combined 2003 client list for the two events companies includes MSN, Corus,
Orange, EMI, Sony Playstation, 02 and NCR. Services supplied included product
launches, major corporate presentations, consumer-facing roadshows, trade shows
and large-scale public events.

To support the relaunch, additional resources have now been dedicated to
establishing a new strategic sales and marketing department.

Said Managing Director Tim Spencer: "The first job for us is to capitalise on
recent successes, such as Brightening Up London and our work for NCR in New
Orleans, aiming to expand our combined corporate clientele to include further
high-end clients for whom the economic conditions have radically improved,"

He added: "The exciting opportunity ahead lies in creating properties in which
Ten Alps retains intellectual capital, such as the new venture Firedance and
similar concepts. These will be rolled out internationally and could have
lucrative television and, indeed, multimedia dimensions."

Said Chief Executive Alex Connock: "Overall events revenues for Ten Alps have
been stable with the marketing economy showing encouraging signs of recovery.
Now we are seeking to further build both volume and margins for 2004 with this
integration. Synergy benefits on the cost side are derived from shared offices
and resources."

Bob Geldof, non-executive director of Ten Alps, will continue to play a key
creative role in the events operations and said: "The events and TV industries
are coming together as everyone creates shows that appeal to the public on
multiple levels. That's the game we are in."

Note to editors

Ten Alps derives its revenues from three areas: TV production, radio production
and advertising and event marketing, latterly, to promote a brand or product
concept.

The Dr Party profile will not be lost: any parties will be implemented under the
Dr Party niche label, within the context of the wider Ten Alps live offering.
